Czech in things out...

Ok, so I could come up with a million puns for this but I will try to keep them to a minimum. I don't want to test anyone's gag reflexes. I had a great send-off from the states. I got to spend time with my family, friends, and I even got a surprise party at work. I am so grateful to everyone who has contributed to this trip either financially or prayerfully. I really pray that God blesses each and every one of you in a way that fits your specific needs.
Well, it is 1:00pm in the afternoon here in Czech which throws me off completely. At home it is 8:15am, so I have been up for about 24 hours with only a few hours of sleep. The flight went really well; I had a window seat so I was able so doze off for a little while. We did hit quite a few bumps on the way though. I bet you didn't know that there were pot holes at 30,000ft but oh there are. Personally, I would take Watson Blvd over turbulence any day. But I got to watch the sun come up from God's eye view, which was beautiful.

What was interesting though, was that once I got off and got to baggage claim I had noticed a group of guys that had been talking about their mission trip. They were fairly young looking and I noticed several tattoos on a few of them. I say that to mean that had they not said they were on a mission trip, I would have assumed a group of guys got together to take a vacation to Prague. Well, it looked like we would be waiting a while for luggage so I asked one of them where they were from. As it turned out, they were a group of leaders and students from Teen Challenge in Dublin, GA. For those that are not familiar with TC, it is a yea
r-long rehab program for young adults. I learned that they were here building a center for their Prague location and that TC actually has centers in over 100 different countries. The guys couldn't have been nicer and they were eager to tell me the things they had overcome and where they are now. So, here are a group of guys who have walked away from drugs and alcohol and are not only clean but actually putting their faith to work in another country! As I've really come to learn lately, God can and does use anybody with a willing heart for His work. Imagine seeing this on the pumps at home (this is roughly $8/gallon)
